Expert Indian Individual Immigration Services
Indian visa categories, OCI rules and registration requirements can be confusing, especially after the 2025 overhaul of India’s immigration law. Whether you are moving to India to work, study or join your family, visiting, or applying for an OCI card or citizenship, we help you choose the right route and prepare your application, with clear advice and step-by-step support.
01
Support with employment visas sponsored by an Indian company, for skilled roles generally paying above US$25,000 a year, including extensions with the Foreigners Regional Registration Office (FRRO). We check your eligibility, help you and your employer prepare the documents, and guide you through e-FRRO registration after arrival.
02
Dependant (entry or X) visas for spouses and children of foreign nationals working in India, and visas for spouses of Indian citizens and OCI holders, who may later qualify for an OCI card themselves. We explain the documents needed, such as marriage and birth certificates, and help you prepare them.
03
Student visas for study at recognised Indian universities and institutions, including the Study in India programme. We check your admission letter and financial evidence, explain registration and reporting rules, and make clear that student visas do not allow paid work.
04
Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) card applications for people of Indian origin and eligible spouses, OCI updates and re-issues under the new online system, and applications for Indian citizenship by registration or naturalisation. India does not allow dual citizenship, so we explain what you would give up.
05
e-Visas (tourist, business, medical and conference) for eligible nationalities, and regular tourist and visit visas. We help with applications and supporting documents, and remind you about the e-Arrival Card, which has been required for arrivals since 1 October 2025.
From your first consultation to your visa, FRRO registration, extensions and OCI or citizenship, we treat every case individually and explain each step clearly.

It depends on your nationality, the purpose of your visit and your circumstances. People of Indian origin may be eligible for an OCI card, which removes the need for most visas. We review your situation and suggest the right visa or OCI route.
e-Visas are usually decided within a few days. Regular visas processed by Indian missions typically take from a few working days to a few weeks, longer if security clearance is needed. OCI applications can take several weeks or more. We advise you on current timelines.
Generally no. Most visas cannot be converted to another category inside India, for example from a business visa to an employment visa, so you would need to apply again from abroad. Some changes, such as certain dependant or OCI-related cases, may be possible through the FRRO. We check what applies to you.
Usually a passport valid for at least six months, photographs, proof of the purpose of your visit (such as an employment contract, admission letter or marriage certificate), and proof of finances or sponsorship. People of Indian origin applying for OCI also need proof of Indian ancestry. We give you a tailored checklist.
Yes. Indian visa refusals generally have no formal appeal route and reasons are often not given, so the usual option is a stronger new application. We review what may have gone wrong and help you reapply. Rejected OCI applicants now have revision and review routes under the 2026 rules.
No language test is required for Indian visas or OCI cards. Students must meet their institution’s language requirements.
Visa fees vary by visa type and nationality, as India sets many fees on a reciprocal basis, and there are separate fees for OCI applications. There is no equivalent of the UK Immigration Health Surcharge, but private health insurance is strongly recommended. We give you a full cost breakdown for your route.
Yes. We help spouses and children apply for dependant visas, and help spouses of Indian citizens or OCI holders apply for OCI once they have been married for at least two years. Dependant visas do not allow work.
An OCI card is a lifelong visa for people of Indian origin and eligible spouses: you can live, work and own most property in India, but you cannot vote or buy agricultural land. Indian citizenship gives full rights, including an Indian passport and the right to vote, but India does not allow dual citizenship, so you must give up your other nationality. OCI holders can apply for citizenship after five years as an OCI and 12 months’ residence.
