Expert Irish Individual Immigration Services

Visa and immigration applications made simple

Irish immigration rules, stamps and permits can be confusing. Whether you are coming to Ireland to work, study or join your family, or you are ready for long-term residence or citizenship, we help you choose the right route, prepare a strong application and stay on track, with clear advice and support at every step.

01

Support with Critical Skills Employment Permits, General Employment Permits, Intra-Company Transfers and the related employment visa and immigration permission. We check your eligibility, advise on the salary thresholds that applied from 1 March 2026, and help you and your employer prepare the documents.

02

Applications to join a spouse, civil partner, de facto partner or other family member who is an Irish citizen, an EU citizen living in Ireland, or a non-EEA national with permission to live here. We explain the income, relationship and accommodation evidence needed and help you build a strong application.

03

Study visas and permission for higher education and English language courses, renewals, and the Third Level Graduate Programme (Stamp 1G) after you finish. We check your offer letter, fees, financial evidence and medical insurance, and explain your work rights: up to 20 hours a week in term and 40 hours in the official holiday periods.

04

Applications for Stamp 4 and long-term residence, and for Irish citizenship by naturalisation. We review your reckonable residence and time spent outside Ireland, prepare the forms and evidence, and keep you up to date on the proposed changes to citizenship rules.

05

Short-stay (type C) visas for tourism, business visits, family visits and marriage in Ireland. Ireland is not part of the Schengen area, so it issues its own visas, and the British-Irish Visa Scheme lets some nationalities travel between Ireland and the UK on one visa. We help you show your ties to home, travel plans and finances. Since 1 June 2026, refused short-stay visas can no longer be appealed, so getting the application right first time matters more than ever.

Frequently Asked Question

It depends on your nationality, the purpose of your stay (work, study, family or business), your income and qualifications. EEA, Swiss and UK citizens do not need permission. For everyone else, we review your situation and suggest the routes that fit.

It varies by route and demand. Employment permit and visa processing times change regularly and are published by the Department of Enterprise and Immigration Service Delivery. We advise you on current timelines when we plan your application.

In some cases. For example, students can move from Stamp 2 to the Graduate Programme (Stamp 1G) and then to an employment permit, and Critical Skills permit holders can move to Stamp 4 after two years. Other changes require a new application, sometimes from outside Ireland. We check the rules for your situation.

Usually a valid passport, evidence of the purpose of your stay (such as an employment permit, college offer letter or marriage certificate), proof of finances, accommodation details and, for students, private medical insurance. We give you a tailored checklist.

Yes. We review the refusal and advise whether to appeal, request a review or reapply. Long-stay (type D) visa refusals can be appealed and employment permit refusals can be reviewed, but short-stay (type C) visa refusals issued from 1 June 2026 can no longer be appealed, so a new, stronger application is the only option.

Most routes have no formal English test, but students must meet their college’s English requirements, and English is often needed in practice for work. The Government has proposed introducing a language test (English, Irish or Irish Sign Language) for citizenship. We can explain what applies to you.

Costs depend on your route: employment permit fees, visa fees, the €300 Irish Residence Permit (IRP) registration fee, and citizenship fees if you apply later. There is no equivalent of the UK Immigration Health Surcharge, but students need private medical insurance. We give you a full breakdown for your route.

Yes. We help spouses, partners and children with family reunification and advise on income, relationship and accommodation requirements. Critical Skills permit holders can bring family straight away; other permit holders may need to wait, usually 12 months.

Stamp 4 lets you live and work in Ireland without an employment permit. Long-term residence gives you Stamp 4 permission for longer periods after five years of residence. Citizenship gives you an Irish and EU passport, the right to live and work anywhere in the EU and full voting rights. Naturalisation currently requires five years of reckonable residence (three years for spouses of Irish citizens, after three years of marriage). The Government has proposed raising this to eight years and adding language and civics tests. We talk through the options for your situation.
