India offers a wide range of central and state government incentives. We help you identify the schemes that fit your plan, build them into your financial model and prepare strong applications.
Through Make in India and Production Linked Incentive (PLI) schemes across sectors such as electronics, pharmaceuticals, automobiles and specialty materials, India supports manufacturing at scale. National missions back semiconductors, artificial intelligence (IndiaAI), green hydrogen and biotechnology, and state governments offer their own investment incentives.
India is simplifying its rules for business: the new Income-tax Act 2025, the four consolidated labour codes, decriminalisation of minor offences under the Jan Vishwas reforms, and the National Single Window System for approvals. Most sectors allow 100% foreign investment under the automatic route.
Startup India and DPIIT recognition unlock tax and compliance benefits for startups. MSMEs registered on the Udyam portal can access collateral-free credit through CGTMSE, startups can use the Credit Guarantee Scheme for Startups, and SIDBI and state agencies offer further finance and support.
The Government invests in startups through SEBI-registered Alternative Investment Funds via the Fund of Funds for Startups, which Budget 2026 expanded by ₹10,000 crore. Eligible DPIIT-recognised startups incorporated before 1 April 2030 can claim a 100% tax deduction on profits for three of their first ten years, and the “angel tax” on share premiums was abolished from 2025-26.
